This course is intended to provide an overview of current state-of-the-art imaging techniques that can be applied to a variety of practical clinical situations. The course will cover topics related to abdominal, cardiac, musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, pediatric and emergency imaging. In addition to being a practical review of common clinical scenarios, the faculty of experts assembled will focus on many new and exciting developments in the field of diagnostic imaging. The course is designed to promote audience participation with a daily review of interesting cases and there is substantial time allotted for discussion and questions related to these imaging issues.

Course Description
This course is designed to demonstrate a practical approach to image interpretation. The lectures are intended to reinforce how imaging data and clinical findings can be used together to narrow a differential diagnosis and aid in patient care. The course will present topics in body, chest, cardiac, PET/CT and breast imaging. The appropriate utilization of CT, MR, and ultrasound imaging will be stressed in order to optimize patient care. Methods to optimize imaging techniques will be reviewed in each lecture. Focused differential diagnoses will be emphasized. Lecture material is based on expert consensus opinion, review of current literature and pathologically proven case material. At the end of the course, the participant should be able to utilize this information to improve their clinical practice.
