Target Audience:


The intended audience for the completion of these modules include the diverse sector of child health professionals including pediatricians, nurse practitioners, family practitioners, registered nurses and social workers.


Learning Objectives:

  • Articulate a Bright-Futures definition of health and how it provides a framework for effective smoking prevention and cessation practice
  • Explain the status of adolescent female health, the prevalence of smoking among this population and the impact of nicotine on their health
