Detailed Description:
ADHD is one of the most prevalent childhood psychiatric disorders and is found in 3% to 7% of school-aged children in the United States. While most studies examining families of children with ADHD have studied the impact on parental functioning, few have studied the impact on siblings. This study investigates how siblings of children with ADHD are affected by the disruption in the family environment.
