The Family-focused treatment model (FFT) is a 21-session treatment program for patients with bipolar disorder and their families. In this book, you will learn general information on bipolar disorder, the format of the FFT model, styles of communication in family systems, and how to work with resistant patients and families. The book will also discuss a model for effective communication, a format for the psychoeducation process, and a protocol for termination.
