This webcast was captured live at the NACE Emerging Challenges in Primary Care Series: Update 2009 and features Dr. Paul Winner. Dr. Winner is director of both the Premiere Research Institute and the Palm Beach Headache Center in West Palm Beach, FL., where he is also an attending neurologist at Palm Beach Neurology. In addition he is Clinical Professor of Neurology at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this program, learners should be able to:

  1. Discuss the prevalence of migraine headaches, and how often appropriate diagnosis is missed
  2. Distinguish between a migraine headache and sinus headaches, tension-type headaches and other types of headaches
