The purpose of this conference is to review the healthcare management of adults in a clinical setting, with special emphasis on cardiac disease and prevention.
Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
- Discuss cardiac diseases commonly encountered in medical practice
- Review measures for preventing cardiac disease including, exercise, diet weight management
- Assess risk factors associated with cardiac disease
- Outline clinical tests used in cardiac disease diagnosis
