The purpose of this CME activity is to review the management of adults and children with diabetes mellitus while simultaneously conducting a practical learning opportunity for diabetic patients and their families.

Preliminary Objectives for Activity:

  • Insulin Pumping, including a basic introduction, use of the insulin pump and recognizing advanced utilization of pumps and troubleshooting.
  • Managing toddlers and small children with diabetes
  • Effectively managing the growing diabetic child and adolescent

  • Diabetes and Depression
  • Diabetic Ketoacidosis
  • Diabetes Burnout
  • Type 2 diabetes in children
  • Lessons from diabetic research
