The purpose of this CME activity is to update the primary care physician on current diagnostic and treatment guidelines, with particular emphasis on pain management.
Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
- Outline a step-wise approach to the diagnosis & treatment of epilepsy, headache, coma, depression, cognitive motor disorders
- Relate the current understanding & treatment of acute stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis & Parkinsonism
- Discuss current controversies involving the management of patients with neurological diseases
- Define appropriate choices for pain management among substance abusers
