The purpose of this CME activity is to to review the clinical assessment of selected chronic and infectious disease conditions with emphasis on outpatient management.
Preliminary Objectives for Activity:
- Describe current understanding of emerging diseases including Ebola, Noro, West Nile and others
- Outline briefly the existing knowledge and management of:
- HIV/AIDS - Hepatitis - Pneumonias - Influenza - TB Diabetes - Asthma/COPD
- Review Disease State Management concepts involving patient populations, severity levels, compliance/adherence and therapeutic outcomes
- Identify precautions and prevention measures during travel
