With ACEP, you can earn your CME requirements through meetings, online education, and publications. For many of our programs, you can get your CME Certificates by using our online print-on-demand feature.
Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, ACEP provides both AMA and ACEP Category 1 credit for its own programs and jointly sponsors programs with chapters and third parties that meet the requirements for AMA Category 1 credit. ACEP also reviews emergency medicine programs for ACEP Category 1 credit for those who have AMA credit. All ACEP educational meetings and some print CME programs are also approved for AOA credit.

The (EMBRS) Workshop was designed by a task force of experienced investigators to help the physician with an interest in emergency medicine research get started.
EMBRS is a 11-day, 2-session program. The first session is held in November and the second session is held in April. You must complete the November session before attending the April session. This program provides a broad overview of the basics from idea to IRB approval to final presentation and publication. Participants will learn how to identify clinical research opportunities and become familiar with clinical research and outcomes, injury prevention, health care delivery and effectiveness research. Also, the course includes an introduction to statistics and statistical software and sessions on publishing and presenting your research. This basic-level course targets.
